Rebuilt for the latest iOS.
iTimeSheet 5 is a clean-room rewrite of the app you have trusted since 2008. Built fresh for the latest iOS — Liquid Glass design, interactive charts, smooth animations. Same bundle. Same database. Same workflow. Everything underneath is new.
What's new
Studio design system
A premium SaaS-grade look across every screen — calmer typography, brand-aligned colours, generous spacing, subtle shadows.
Today, redesigned
The timer now tracks pause and resume with minute-level accuracy. Switch projects mid-task and iTimeSheet saves the current entry for you before starting the next one. A live indicator on the Timer tab tells you a timer is running, even from another tab. A new + button on the Today screen adds a manual entry in one tap.
Timesheet, with a month view
Tap any day to inspect its entries. Swipe to move between months. Daily bars show how full each day was at a glance. A new + button creates a fresh entry on the selected day.
Reports, rebuilt
A hero revenue card with period-over-period delta. Pie chart of revenue and hours by client, with a tap to drill down into the projects underneath. A bar-chart revenue trend with horizontal gridlines and money labels on the Y axis. Pick week, month, quarter, year, or a custom date range. A brand-aligned ten-colour palette keeps the same client wearing the same colour everywhere. CSV export of any report from any view, scoped to the current selection.
Expenses, with photos
Track expenses with receipt photos attached and pinned to the mission they belong to. Re-use the same expense items across projects. Export expenses alongside hours when you bill the client.
Export, your way
A new Export format screen lets you choose which columns appear, in what order, how each one is formatted (date, duration, time, currency), and which separator the CSV uses (semicolon, comma, dash, colon, tab — for both US and European locales). Save your template once; export with the right format every time.
Tracking detail you control
Pick Client-only, Project-only, or the full Client → Mission → Task hierarchy. iTimeSheet hides the levels you do not use and creates sensible defaults underneath.
iCloud backup, on your own storage
Back up to your iCloud Drive whenever you want. The backup is a local database, in a single file you can see in the Files app. Move to a new iPhone? Restore in one tap. Your data, your cloud.
Apple Calendar sync
One-way sync of your time entries to any Apple Calendar of your choice — through EventKit, no third-party calendar provider.
Reminders
Schedule notification-based reminders to log your time on the days you choose.
Localised
English, French and Spanish on day one. More to follow.
What's gone
- The FTP backup workflow is replaced by iCloud Drive and the Files app.
- The "Jump to calendar on launch" preference is removed.
- The Export tab moves into Settings, where it belongs.
- The status bar blur in Settings is fixed.
Privacy you can verify
No account required, ever. No third-party analytics SDKs. No advertising. Optional iCloud backup that uses your own iCloud storage, not ours. See the Privacy Policy.
Thank you for sticking with iTimeSheet over the years. v5 is the version
this app has been waiting to grow into.
